Fishing Education Seminar & Summer Outing

Have you avoided fishing because …???

Well.. “FISH ARE BITING, SO EXCITING!!”

Frank Pratt in conjunction with the Senior Resource Center of Sawyer County is presenting a fishing educational seminar with a day excursion later this summer. The first part of this program on July 12 will teach you how to make your own fishing tackle and give you tips on making the most of your efforts. A group outing on pontoons on Nelson Lake will be scheduled at a later date to be determined sometime in the summer.

WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Target Audience: Seniors, care givers, and residents in facilities who want to fish or are willing to help others fish. And for sure, family members and friends.This program will help preview and plan group fishing trips to be sponsored by the Fishing Has No Boundaries program to be held later this summer…

Farmer’s Market Coupons

Farmer’s Market Coupons will be arrival at the following locations:

    • June 26 – Hayward Senior Center – Upper Level – 1-3 PM
    • July 1 – Stone Lake Senior Center – 11 – 1 PM
    • July 2 – Winter Library – 11 – 1 PM
    • July 2 – Exeland Senior Center – 1:30 – 3 PM

There are a limited number of coupons available for Sawyer County, if you unable to get one, you will be put on a waiting list, if we are able to get more coupons.

Coffee, Cookies and Cards!

Make your Own Greeting Cards starting Tuesday, January 23, 2024 and every 4th Tuesday of the month from 9:30-11:30 am.  All supplies will be provided to make 4 cards- $3 each; or 4 for $12 at the Senior Resource Center- Upper Level.
