Bus Transportation (Monday through Friday)
We have a handicap accessible bus for people 55+ or disabled within 5 miles of the City of Hayward. A discount is available for those who qualify. Request an application from the driver or the Senior Resource Center.

Charge for a One-Way Trip During Regular Hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday)
Customers: $1.00
Discount Customers: $0.50 or a 20 punch card for $10.00

Charge for a One-Way Trip During Peak Hours (Before 9:00 AM and after 3:00 PM)
Customers: $2.00
Discount Customers: $1.00

Please call at least 24 hours in advance because certain days and time slots fill up quickly. Our busiest times tend to be between 10am and 1pm. If you are calling to schedule shopping trips, please consider an early morning (9am) trip. Also keep this in mind when making doctor appointments early morning or mid afternoon time slots are more open. We try as hard as we can to accommodate all requests – the earlier you call, the more likely we can pick you up at the exact time you need.
